Half a Dozen of the Other
is a darkly humorous novel set in modern day Birmingham in which six strangers are unaware that, in a handful of trivial situations, their paths have previously crossed. Then, on one eventful morning, they find their courses colliding in ways they could never have imagined.
Moving between the characters as their lives begin to intertwine, the story takes us back to the pivotal moments that brought them to this point. It is not just the manner of these events that matters but how each character reacts to them, as fate plays out its habitual battle against free will.
